Only one elderly owner from new… First registered by Lexus Glasgow for Mrs Taylor. It is clear from just driving my Lexus, just how well it has been cared for. The exterior is quite immaculate and the interior is simply as new. It is very rare to find a one owner Lexus with such a low miles.

Exterior Condition: The bodywork of my Lexus IS200 Sport is quite exceptional. With the exception of perhaps a very small chip you will be hard pushed to find a single fault worth discussion. The exterior panels and paint work is in stunning condition. Looking down the side of the car every panel has a glass like finish. Every panel is quite perfect. No supermarket dints, bumper scuffs to be seen. All the door checks are immaculate and polished and the sill treads are unmarked. All the glass is in perfect condition. Please see my pictures.

Interior Condition: A non-smoker’s car from new. The cloth roof lining is immaculate and unmarked. The wool floor carpets are immaculate and have a deep pile. The rear seats and carpets look almost new. The front passenger seat compartment is similar. The driver’s seat compartment is quite exceptional and shows very little sign of use. All the dash materials are like new. I can’t stress enough how nice the interior is. It is like sitting in a new car.

Boot Compartment: Completely immaculate and showing little sign of ever being used. The floor carpets are like new and the black plastic trims are free from scuffs. The spare wheel tools and locking wheel nut key are all present. The spare wheel is a full size alloy and original.

Engine Compartment: All the panels are free from dust and oil. Having recently been shampooed and finished with a quality silicone polish.

Alloy Wheels and Tyres: The alloy wheels are in immaculate condition. One alloy has a very small scuff and that’s all. Even the inner alloy wheels are spotlessly clean and polished. All four tyres are quality branded Bridgestone Potenza and have excellent tread depth.

On the Road: My Lexus IS200 drives as you would expect a well maintained Lexus should. Turn the key and the engine bursts into life. The first thing you will notice is the lack of engine noise and how smooth the engine idles. Stop at the traffic lights and you won’t hear her running. The steering feels taught and positive. The suspension is firm and comfortable. The engine runs ultra-smooth and revs freely. The gears change up and down the box with ease. The clutch works perfectly with and early biting point. Everything works just fine.

This is a really special and well cared for car. It has wanted for nothing. It has the 2.0 Engine which gives excellent fuel consumption and has good performance, 153bhp. The engine mechanics and all electrical options are in perfect working order. The car drives as it left the factory. Testimony to the excellent maintenance. The exterior bodywork is quite exceptional and the Interior is amazing. The engine compartment is a sight to behold and boot compartment is perfect.



My Lexus wants for nothing. The Mot isn’t due until the end of March 2017 and I have just had a new service completed. The timing belt has also been replaced. Other than some tax there is nothing for the new owner to do but drive her away and enjoy.
