Description
64 Lincoln Continental 4 door. I've had this car for about 12 years and have put roughly 7k miles on it since then. It has been stripped down, small bits of rust removed, painted and put back together in 2006.
The good: Pretty much all original except for the paint, wheels, tires and the stereo system. This is a serious head-turner that runs and drives great. The windshield is brand new. There is also a brand new Optima red-top battery installed and the alternator and voltage regulator have just been replaced. Rust free Arizona car. Alpine deck with Alpine speakers and amp installed. Fosgate 10" subwoofer in the trunk.
The bad: Needs an A/C compressor. ($250) Needs a headlight switch ($80). Needs trunk carpeting ($350). The truck has been sprayed with truck bedliner but needs to be finished. Seats need to be reupholstered. The interior is in pretty good shape but far from show quality. There are a few paint flaws (one on the roof and one on the driver's quarterpanel). Window switches need to be rebuilt ($50 each). There are 2 cracks in the dash. It has a ton of quirks like any 50 year old car does which can be discussed.
