Description

Overall systems check (taken from prior owners notes). Engine and transmission were rebuilt in the last 3500 miles. Replaced alternator. Replaced master cylinder/brakes. Rebuilt radiator. Replaced fuel pump, starter, battery cables. Replaced shocks, exhaust and pipes. Carburetor likely needs servicing as it takes a bit to get the car started after its been sitting for a while.
Electrical:
Brake lights work, but not when the turn signals are active.
Window switches rebuilt, but window regulators likely need servicing (dried grease and dirt over the last 50 years). Relay’s need checking.
Power seat is non-op. Probably needs some cleaning of the mechanisms.
Engine compartment:
Needs some tidying up in general.
Radiator shroud is broken, but improvised repair in place. I have a better, serviceable OEM shroud that needs a couple cracks filled with fiberglass and painted black.
Coolant overflow tank is ok, but the overlow tube (at the cap) has a crack. Need a repair and paint black.
Sort out the factory A/C. I have a compressor and mounting hardware to make it a complete system.
Some components have been restored by me and repainted with “Old Ford Blue” Hi-Temp paint
Interior:
Front seats were recovered in vinyl. The rear is still factory leather and split/cracked.
Headliner has unstitched and needs to be resewn. (original)
Dash is cracked
Package tray is cracked and fabric is deteriorated.
Carpet is in good condition (no tears)
Original factory 8-Track
A/C - Non-op (Have components included)
All Window switches rebuild. (Rears need to be installed).
Exterior:
Repainted black 10+ years ago. Spots are peeling and clear is bubbling. Original color was Aegean Bronze Metallic.
A couple rust spots under the paint.
Vinyl top was replaced at the same time it was repainted, but it has small tears and maybe some rust underneath.
Stainless is near perfect and complete. Missing some clips, but can be found or 3D printed.
Chrome brightwork is pitted. Front bumper might be bent and need straightening. One of the rear bumper ends is rusting through (I have a replacement).
All scripts and badging are intact.
Power antenna mast is broken, but motor works. I have another complete OEM unit with a good mast, but the motor seems dead.
All the rubber weather stripping and window felts needs replacing.
Have original 15” wheel and wheel covers. Wide whitewall tires are new.
All in all, it’s a solid car and needs TLC.
