Description
A true survivor with less than 30,000 original miles, one owner southern (TN) car, meticulously kept and always garaged. No accidents or repairs. A real head turner. Runs great with no issues.
I purchased the car last year from the widow of the gentleman who owned this car together with three other Lincolns from the 1970's. In immaculate condition, but it suffered from typical issues from not being driven a lot (fuel- and brake system).
Since I received the car I have had the following work completed by a professional mechanic:
- replaced gas tank, fuel gauge sending unit, fuel pump, gas lines
- completely rebuilt carburettor
- replaced distributor, plugs and wires
- completely rebuilt brake system, including master cylinder, flexible lines, rotors, callipers, rear brake pumps, brake shoes and pads
- new battery, radiator clutch, radiator hoses, fan belts
- new white side tires
- replaced all fluids, incl. oil change, differential, transmission, coolant
The interior is in perfect condition (smells a bit of old-school moth ball), the paint is original with no imperfections, and the vinyl roof looks like new. No rust.
The only issue with this low-mileage car is that the Cartier clock does not work.
According to Hagerty's Valuation Tool the market value of a 1977 2-door coupe in #2 Excellent Condition is $23,200
Additional photos upon request. Happy bidding.
