1979 Lincoln Continental Mark V. This truly is a one of a kind must have for any collector! Unique color combination being all turquoise in and out. The interior is 2-tone turquoise with leather and velour seating area. The car is fully loaded and has been in the family since new. 13,491 Original Miles.(21,800 km for the Canadians) Always garaged in Climate controlled comfort. Never out in rain and never seen snow. Seniors holiday car in Florida since Dec.1st 1979. All options work as they should! Heat is firey hot. A/C is ice cold running on R12. The cruise holds at set speed. The engine purrs effortlessly and the transmission shifts smoothly. Even the Cartier clock, 8-track radio and power antenna work flawlessly. The paint is 99% original with only one touch up being done in 1980 for a small golf ball dimple on top of the drivers side front fender. The interior is spotless showing no wear. Matching carpeted floor mats have always had large rubber mats over top. The vinyl top is perfect with no shrinkage or fade. The double French stitching is perfect. The dash is perfect also. We just replaced the original SPEC Michelin X 225-15 radials (for safety). Michelins are bagged and go with the car. Original spare in trunk never out and never on the ground. Trunk is also spotless. The entire car was Rustproofed with Tuff-Kote when new and the body is absolutely rust free. The undercarriage is pristine with no rust or stone chips. The chrome is flawless. The car also had Diamond-Kote paint protection applied along with Scotch-guard. Along with the 4 new Vogue Tyres, we also had belts and hoses replaced and all fluids updated. The car still retains its original factory wiper blades. The carb was overhauled as the accelerator pump was failing. The interior has only been vacuumed.( didn't need anything else) Under the hood has been nicely detailed and wiped down. The car has just been inspected at the local Ford dealer and passed with flying colors on all levels. Original Bill of sale in Grandpas name, paid cash. 2sets of original Lincoln keys with no wear. The body is pristine with original painted on pin-stripes. All books and manuals. Just drove 700 miles round trip last week with no issues.
