Description
Extremely rare 1965 Lehmann Peterson Limousine. This is a stunning 49,000 original mile Limousine that shows beautifully. I have owned this limousine for 8 years and have just finished a no expense spared refinish. This includes a full bare metal strip and full refit of the interior. All chrome and stainless was removed and the entire car was stripped including the removal of the original vinyl roof. The full interior was insulated properly and then the entire interior was replaced using the finest in leathers and suedes available. The head liner was replaced using beige suede in the rear compartment and black suede in the front. All of the seats were reupholstered using the original patterns in the finest leathers available, no vinyl short cuts were taken. The door panels were all recovered as well again using only the correct patterns and reusing the original Mouton royal blue carpeting to finish off the lower doors. The original Mouton floor carpet was cleaned and reused to compliment the tan leather and looks absolutely amazing. The original wood console was preserved and maintains its AM/FM stereo and A/C controls. All interior stainless and sliding partition parts were cleaned and reused. The entire car was refinished in base clear midnight black and all stainless and chrome was cleaned and polished, but every piece is original and the quality and condition of the trim shows as a 49,000 mile car should. The vinyl roof was replaced using the exact pattern as the original and the seams were finished as originals as well and all trunk material was replaced using the original spare tire cover. The original Rabbit Ear TV antenna was refitted in its exact position and is absolutely the coolest part of this amazing limousine. The front carpets were replaced and over carpets were custom fitted using the same material then rubber backed. The dash in this car is spectacular and in mint condition including all of its chrome and perfect steering wheel. When do you see a flawless steering wheel? Only on a low mileage original example. The door handles, mirrors, and emblems are also all original and show extremely well. Underneath the car the complete dual exhaust was replaced and sounds beautiful and quiet with no exhaust manifold leaks at all. The car runs as a 49,000 mile car should, quiet, powerful and smooth and the transmission works perfectly. All the u joints and hanger bearings were checked and replaced as needed. Tires are near new condition radials with proper size white wall tires and unused spare radial as well. The engine compartment is completely original and has not been sugar coated. The original power antenna works perfectly as does the dash clock including second hand
If you know Lincoln's you know how rare good Lehmanns are and especially the 65' models. This would make a lovely addition to any collection. I have been in the Limousine business for 39 years and I know a lot about theses cars, I have owned 8 of them and I currently own a beautiful 69' Lehmann as well as a 600 MB Pullman and probably the lowest mileage 75 series Cadillac in existence. I have owned the Oval window 64' Ghia , a 58' Ghia and the one off 67 Imperial Limousine as well as 56' Derhams and countless more so feel free to question me about this priceless classic.
All I can say is it is as nice as they come, all questions will be answered, the car is 10 minutes from Toronto Pearson Airport and can be exported easily back to the US by Reliable Carriers who visit me on a very regular basis.
