Description
This 1964 Lincoln Continental Convertible is in an unrestored “survivor” that shows proper
owner maintenance and care throughout its life.
It is powered by the 430cid V8 engine and backed by a 3 speed Turbo-Drive automatic transmission. The engine is in perfect working condition and showed no signs of abnormal noises or smoking from the tail pipe. The engine idles incredibly smooth and has good throttle response.
The frame and body floorboards are in good condition. The only area noted with rust is on the front passenger side floorboard.
All the body panels are straight and properly aligned. The original factory seams and pinch welds are evident throughout the vehicle. The “suicide” doors open and close properly and there are no signs of alignment or worn hinge or striker plate issues. The paint finish is in good condition. The windshield and door glass are in excellent condition.
The convertible top is in good cosmetic condition. The hydraulic rams and lines are in like-wise good condition.
The interior is in good, factory condition with the only wear noted is on the front seat upholstery. The rest of the upholstery and trim panels of the vehicle are in very good condition. The dashboard and dash pad are in factory-new condition and shows this vehicle had been garaged for most of its life.
