1948 Lincoln Continental

1948 Lincoln Continental. Great looks and style. I will describe this the best I can. If you are looking at this listing you probably know more about this car than I do. This is an estate car that belonged to my father. I am his son and have a clear title in my name. This is an older restoration that when completed was painted in colors (exterior and interior) that were appealing to the gentleman that did the restoration. All the chrome is in excellent condition! Paint is in great shape with the two tone colors really setting it off. The interior is also in great shape as well as the headliner. Starts and runs fine. The windows work with the touch of a button! Some of the things that I remember were done to this car. The brakes were fixed, the fuel tank was removed and cleaned, there was a new carburetor installed, new electric fuel pump with a pressure regulator, new spark plugs. This car has been sitting for about the last four years in a heated warehouse. Prior to that it sat in my fathers garage as a piece of eye candy and seldom driven. The fuel in the car is old and should be drained. I drove this car around the block and it drives like an old car. No power steering or brakes. I find it amazing that was a luxury car in it's day! The mileage I did not look at so the number in the listing is not correct. The reserve is very low for a car of this quality! Again I do not know a lot about these old cars.
