Description

This is a beautifully finished black freshly show quality painted 1941 Lincoln Zephyr 3 window coupe with a 3 1/2" chopped top. It is an all steel body and NOT a fiberglass clone. It has a C3 Corvetteindependent rear suspension setup, Fat man front-end suspension, power rack & pinion steering and 4 wheel power disc brakes. It has a 350 Chevy engine with an automatic overdrive transmission. Being a black car it is good to have A/C which it does. Power windows are a nice touch as well. The interior was just redone. It also has new tires all the way around.
Potential purchases are invited to have an inspection done.
This car is being sold to downsize the personal collection. There is already a 40 Lincoln Zephyr MKZ in the collection that is bagged. This car is just too nice of a driver with the independent rear suspension to bag this one.
This car drives very well and is dependable. The only problem with the car is the amount of attention that it receives whether moving or parked. Being as that is why the car was built, the end results speaks for itself. The metal work where the top meets the rear section is blended so well that there is absolutely no way to tell that the top has been chopped. The black paint would bring out any imperfections but there are none.
The speedometer does not currently work. The other original gauges are 6 volt and do not function with the modern 12 volt system.
The 350 engine has just been freshened up.
The seats are power seats for those who may not have noticed.
All 4 wheels and tires have been replaced with new pieces at quite an expense especially after having the wheels powder coated.
There is around $17,000 tied up in just the paint and body work to bring it to the current level.
Best of luck with your bidding.
Please ask all questions before bidding.
Thanking everyone for their bids on this really sharp car.
