Description

2003 Maserati Spyder Cambiocorsa
This car includes the factory optional Sport Mode, combining tightened gear change, throttle response and Sky-Hook suspension, when selected. The combination of Mistral-Verde body color with the tobacco leather interior really sets this car aside and will definitely draw attention and positive comments.
The car is fitted with a Larini Exhaust - comprising of both Sports CATS and the X-Pipe. The sports CATS solve the problem of the factory "squished" restrictive flat ones and the X-Pipe replaces the large and heavy center section resonator. Result is an improvement in power, torque, smoothness of drive, decrease in weight with an improvement in fuel economy. Plus that awesome exhaust note which is quiet in cruise but can give you that Italian bark when called for. The AC is solid cold, the heated seats provide warmth on cold mornings and cool evening drives. The hood is fully operational, as are the auto-window and retracting mirrors plus a functional radio. The car comes with two keys, all the documents provided when new and (most of) the factory tool kit.
Much work has been carried out on this Maserati to get it sorted after I purchased it in 2018 including:
Clutch replaced and an upgraded throw-out bearing.
New heater core - aluminum replacing the factory plastic one that easily fails.
Inlet manifold powder-coated red to match valve covers.
Headlight lens covers professional polished.
Hood rear actuators were replaced.
Exhaust system upgraded with a Larini X-Pipe and fwd Sport CATS.
All the work, plus regular servicing was carried out by Modena Motorsport - Los Angeles
