Description

1995 Mazda MX-3 Kammback Coupe. 45,000 original miles. NEVER driven in winter. This car was purchased new from Mazda dealer in Rockford, Illinois. Older gentleman owned it for 25 years before selling it to a young man who was his neighbor. He purchased the car with 17,000 miles and continued the tradition by keeping it in the garage from November to April. I purchased it because it was such an incredibly cool original car. Mazda only made this car for US consumers for a few years, and continued to sell the car in Europe and Canada. It was purchased from dealer with synthetic oil and has had the same changed with filter every 3000 miles. It has brand new performance radial tires and a new exhaust can/pipe, tune up and fluids flushed and oil changed. This car runs like it just left the dealer showroom.
It has:
Air Conditioning-Ice cold
Cruise control-works great.
Alloy wheels with locks/brand new performance radials
Carpeted logo floor mats from factory
Tinted Glass
Removable cargo cover
Power sunroof-dual position
4 wheel independent suspension
5 speed manual transmission
Disc brakes
Tilt Steering
Dual cupholders
Center Armrest
It has two finger nail size dings in the hood and a couple blemishes behind driver's door. Both are nearly impossible to see other than the shading of the red touch up paint. Red is always a tough match.
The interior is nearly flawless. The driver's side floormat shows a very slight amount of heel wear. The visors, headliner, and fabric interior and door panels are as new. The trunk is very spacious for a sport "GT" type car, and has the full cover that hides luggage well. The spare is original and so are tools. Neither look to have ever been used. I surveyed the underside of the car while having the muffler changed for a quieter tone; it's immaculate all around and a testament to the care of the previous owners. I drove the car 150 miles on the highway at over 65mph with the cruise control and achieved nearly 40mpg.
I purchased this car because it was so pristine and well maintained. It is one of the nicest handling automobiles I have ever driven; and I have owned Alfas, Mercedes, Audis, and innumerable others. It shifts smoothly, stops precisely, and hugs corners and interchanges like it was meant to. The build quality is exceptional, and rivals any Honda I have ever owned. Whoever gets this car will get a gem. Hopefully it will go to a dry climate or remain a "warm weather ride" here in the Midwest. This looks a lot like a downsized version of the Porsche 944, but will be a lot less expensive to maintain and certainly a LOT more reliable. This is the best car for the money I've ever had. I have this car advertised locally as well and reserve the right to cancel auction pending local sale.
