1998 mk2 Mazda mx-5 1.8
The car runs fine and starts first time, however there is a coolant leak and slow puncture in the drivers rear side. The coolant leak looks to be coming from both hoses running to and from the radiator. I have bought a new water pump which will be supplied with the car but has not been fitted. The leak doesn't cause any problems on short journeys so long as you double check the coolant levels regularly. It's also missing the lid for the center console but I have ordered a new one which will need to be fitted.
Despite these small problems, the car starts and runs without any issue. The roof is in excellent condition with no tears or leaks anywhere and it folds as it should. I have also fitted an upgraded radiator (£150) an induction kit (£80) and an aftermarket CD/mp3 player with USB (£120). The car has an MOT until October 2015.
