Up for auction is my mx-5 1.8 svt sports. with low miles, brand new m.o.t mx5 and brand new service.
I bought the car in march this year for some summer fun, this has been the 5th mx5 I've owned and I have loved every minute of owning this one. I am selling because I have just been given a car from a relevetive and can not justify owning both cars, so the little fun car has to go.
The car features:
-6 speed manual gear box
-Limited slip differential
-Heated sports leather seats (all though drivers heating element doesn't work at the moment, I suspect a loose wire)
-Mx5 roll bar
-Cd player
-Electric windows
-Hard top in very good condition
- Mohair Soft top in almost new condition and not a cheap vinyl hood like some
-The more powerful 148bhp engine
-Solid part service history
The car drives spot on pulls in all gears as it should
The car is going in for it's m.o.t tomorrow so I am getting it a full service at the same time so the new owner has peace of mind and they can just go and have some summer fun.
The only negative is that there is a little rust on the wheel arches (as seen in photos), it is still very solid underneath, a very common issue with the mx5 and easily fixed, I only mention it as want to be 100% honest in the listing. please rest assured though that this very good honest mx5
The cars mileage will go up slightly as the car is in daily use, I am working most days over the next week however the car will be at work with me in Milton Keynes so viewing can be arranged.
Please only bid if you have 20 or more feedback and be aware you are bidding to buy not just come a view the car after auction, sorry to all you honest ebayer's but have had a few with time wasters over the years.
The car has just come back from its mot and service, I have had new drop links/bushes fitted and new rear brake pads, the only advisories were that the rear tyres are both getting a bit low on tread and the rear discs will probably need doing for the next service. The total bill came to £316 with paperwork to prove the work has been done. The car now has 12 months mot
