Hello
We are selling our family car. It has served us proud for the last four years and has been well looked after. It has taken us on many a family trip and has done the sons football runs and other journeys very well indeed. I'm actually quite sad to see it go.
We weren't looking to change it yet, but when my father-in-law gave us his 59reg car a couple of weeks ago, it left us with a decision to make. Alas its time for the Mazda to go.
Its overall condition is good. The bodywork is clean, the interior is pretty clean (for a family car), and it drives well.
I bought it with a service history and have serviced it every year since I've had it. Including a service in April of this year. I've not kept many of the receipts, but you can tell its been looked after.
I had the cambelt changed last April (2014) and bought 4 brand new Mazda alloys and new tyres at the same time. (the old wheels were showing signs of age - blistering and such like. These new ones look great). The tyres still have most of the tread left on them and the back ones still look new.
It had a DPF fault a couple of years ago. I this permanently repaired / removed. The technically minded of you will know that this is good and the non technically minded should be advised that it will never have a DPF fault again. Plus the ECU was remapped at the same time (143bhp-172bhp). Its pretty nippy for a family motor.
The ABS / traction control module was replace about two years ago.
It does have the odd bodywork chip and mark, but nothing too serious to mention. The interior could do with a clean, but there are no rips or tears. We don't smoke and we have no pets.
The stereo is fantastic. It has a 6 CD Stereo and the sound quality is the best of any car I've ever had.
I'm not asking the earth for it. It's MOT is due in August, If you pay £2995 then I'll put a full 12 months on it.
If you want to do this yourself, then I'll take £2500.
