1993 Mazda RX-7 R1

This Mazda RX-7 is one of 138 R1 examples produced in Brilliant Black over a black interior for the 1993 model year and was acquired by the seller in October of 2019.The prior owner had the car since 1994.This accident free Mazda comes with it's original 1.3 Liter Twin Turbo Rotary Engine with only 36380 original miles. Original 5 Speed Manual Transmission. The motor is 100% stock and has the following recent maintenance performed.Oil change, New NKG Plugs, New Belts, Air Filter, Battery, Fuel pump and Fuel Filter, Rebuilt Stock Shifter, New 17" Motegi Wheels & Westlake Summer Tires. The Mazda is near 100% original other than an aftermarket stereo and security system.The stereo does not currently work and as pictured the rear storage compartments were converted to speaker wells.The interior is in great condition.The seats show very little wear.The passenger side door handle pull is missing.The power windows are operational, but a little slow going up. The air conditioning will need serviced with R12 refrigerant. This RX7 runs and drives very well with with fast cold and hot start ups.The sequential twin turbos spool up as designed and create a very unique driving experience.The car has fast and smooth acceleration.The original exhaust shows some rust wear, but produces a beautiful tone.The car has its original single stage Brilliant Black paint job.The paint has imperfections but looks very good in natural light.Photos included show more noticeable imperfections under fluorescent light.Photos also show a few unfortunate minor dents.Despite some exterior wear the car shines and looks very presentable.
