Description
I am the sole owner and sole driver of this Completely Stock 1993 RX-7 Touring, with 81,547 miles on the body. Engine replaced by Mazda Extended Warranty at 64,875, along with clutch, brakes and complete tune-up. So, engine, clutch and brakes have 16,647 miles on them. Full tune with Brakes and all Belts repeated at 76,706. Car has never been raced or entered in any type of competition, as attests to its completely stock condition. (OK, the radiator cap is not stock, because the original cap was recalled by Mazda.) All recalls performed. Car was always garaged.
My RX-7 has NEVER been in an accident, as the detailed VIN report will show. Once, while at the dealer, an employee scraped the passenger-side front quarter panel, and the dealer refinished everything. This is also documented.
Everything in the car works as new: Air Conditioning, Radio, CD player, Cassette player, Power Antenna, Pop-up Headlights, Power Sunroof, Bose Acoustic Wave Stereo, Heater, Handbrake, Original Floor Mats.
There are only three small problem areas: (1) The plastic cowling underneath the front of the car is cracked. I drove over a deadly speed bump in a parking garage. Pictures show this. (2) There is some normal wear on the lower part of the side of the driver’s leather seat. No tears, just wear. Photos also show this. (3) The fuel filler cap broke over 20 years ago (at a gas station from a not-careful employee), and I repaired it with grey epoxy. It has worked perfectly ever since. Pictures also show this. There is also a small, un-repaired ding from a stone, I guess, located just behind the driver’s door. Pictures also show this.
Included is the original Window Sticker from July 1972, purchased from Roger Burdick Mazda in Rochester, NY. All documentation included. That means every single oil change from date of purchase to now is documented. Every complaint I had that was repaired by the dealer its documented. Along with the original receipts for each dealer interaction, there is an 11-page computer printout detailing the car’s service history. I purchased an extended warranty from Mazda, and they replaced the engine and all associated parts 16,500 miles ago. There was no excessive wear on the engine, brakes or clutch, but there was a small oil leak. I pressed and Mazda complied.
16,000 miles ago I left the East Coast and made my new home in the mountains of Colorado, where the car has remained ever since. There were no problems driving cross-country, and no problems since. Car has been driven less than 1,000 miles per year since, and has Collector Vehicle insurance.

Sequential Twin Turbo charged, 2 Rotors, Rotary Engine 13B-REW, 80 (40x2) cubic inch displacement, electronic gasoline injection.

Rear Window Wiper/Washer
Note that the original Mazda key, with key-replacement code, is included. See photo of the original manual, warranty, and VIP road service guide, all wrapped in a leather binder.
Probably no other RX-7 in the world also includes the original Bose Demonstration CD, which came in its own binder with booklet.
When looking at the photos, note that there are no ripples or indents in the body, except for the one small one described above, behind the driver’s door. The reflections on the paint sometimes appear as imperfections. They are just reflections.
I hope that the new owner of my RX-7 will give it the care it deserves, as it should provide many years of satisfaction for this car’s second owner. If I love this car so much why am I selling it? I’m 70 years old now, and I need to downsize my life. I Hope you enjoy it!
