Mazda rx8 in black. 73k miles loads of service history up to 70,764.
I've just done some servicing bits to it too, MAF / ESS etc. (Aircraft engineer that loves clean components)
Bog standard, no boy racer mods. Bose sound system , Ann summers style red and black leather interior. Everything works as it should.
No warning lights or codes, no hot cold start issues that you will sometimes find on poorly maintained ones.
You can see from the pics the condition, but when up close you can see some scratches, it is a 2005 car after all. I have given a few coats of autoglym and it has just had a coat of diamondbrite so it doesn't need polishing until the spring.
She really does turn heads and drives like these cars should, the way I drive doesn't really do it justice to be honest and they do like to be revved to keep the engine components clean and de-coked.
An awesome piece of kit if you want to be different, for not much money. I've had 3 of these in the last 15 years and this one is the best by far. 192bhp and pre 2006 so it's the lower tax version.
As you may know these rotary engines are designed to use a bit of oil. This one uses hardly any to be fair, again the best one I've had in this respect.
3 reasons for sale; I have a hernia and its playing havoc with it being so sporty / low and i'm looking for something moreboring.
I love to have a tinker but there's nothing to tinker with on this. I've done a few jobs on her since having her, so all is left is to keep her the shiniest car on the road and enjoy which brings me to my last reason:-
I have ocd and I can't cope with a black car any longer. Whilst I love cleaning her, black is a bugger to keep clean but it looks pretty striking when clean to be honest lol.
Genuinely no faults at all on this. She's a good one ;)
Please ask away if you have any questions and please no time wasters. If you just want to try one out, please go elsewhere. I won't let you get behind the wheel unless you bring an insurance document or the cash, too many chancers out there that would leave me high and dry should there be an accident. Hope that doesn't offend.
