Mercedes-Benz 190-Series

Up for auction today is a beautifully restored 1959 Mercedes 190 Ponton with a Webasto roof. This car was part of a small private collection, which the owner is trying to downsize due to loss of storage space. This car has been professionally restored inside and out. All brand new parts were used during restoration where necessary. All gauges and indicator lights including the clock are in working condition. Bakelite dash is in mint condition as shown in the pictures. The interior, seats, gauges, dashboard and the carpets are all restored and in mint condition.The engine has also been professionally restored(have receipts), and it runs like a little sewing machine. The frame and body are in excellent condition. Lots of power for a four cylinder car, I can cruise comfortably at 100 km/h.
The carburetor, points and have recently been cleaned and adjusted. The Webasto roof is brand new as well. The brakes have also all been adjusted a few weeks ago. Radiator cleaned, repaired and pressure tested. The engine and transmission have been overhauled and are in excellent working condition. Front and rear suspension are in excellent condition. The car has been rust proofed. Pictures and paperwork of restoration is available for buyer. The car comes with manuals and parts books.The body of the car is very straight with no bondo or dents what so ever. The car has been professionally repainted in 2010. The body has very minor (1cm) very fine scratches from shows and Canada parades. All the chrome throughout the car is in mint condition as shown in the pictures.
The only thing the car is missing is the two small reflectors in the bumper over rider and a radio ( I have one, but not sure of its condition)- Will be sold with the car.

The car was appraised by a Licensed appraiser in Ontario in 2011 for $29,800.00.
