MERCEDES 220 SE COUPE1965 RESTORATION PROJECT

1965 220se Coupe Automatic for sale. 147,000 original miles. We have owned this car since 1968. This car is running but the car has been sitting for many years. The engine and transmission have been replaced from another 1965 220se Mercedes. I do have the original engine and transmission. The car was hit while parked and damaged in the drivers rear. The car has good compression, good running engine, good transmission. This is a complete car it has small a amount of rust in trunk, left spare tire area, uncut dash board with original working grand prix radio, good instrument cluster, interior is fantastic including original carpet. Car needs brake work and full restoration. This car is not ready to drive on the street yet, but overall a terrific candidate for a restoration project I would keep and restore myself but my job has made me move.
