Mercedes-Benz 280SEL W116 1976 Auto
Hardly used in the last 8 years. Only travelled 4400 kms since 2007.Suit enthusiast, collector or investor.Original owner's manual and logbook.Was previously registered as a classic/vintage. Currently unregistered and selling as is.Straight body.Wood-like interior trim.Chrome exterior trim.Sheepskin seat covers.Air-conditioning works however needs a re-gas.Electric sunroof works.Power-steering works.Near new tyres with full tread as car is not driven now.Near new water pump.New fuel pump fitted this month.Small dent under rear bumper (passenger side, see photo).Front driver's side headlamp needs re-chroming (see photo).Crack in the front dash (see photo).Electric radio antenna receives signal however doesn't extend or retract due to motor failing. Replacement antenna incl. motor costs approx. $75 plus shipment from USA.Vacuum assist central locking works well with motor running however won't hold vacuum with the engine off.
