1993 MERCEDES 280 TE AUTO SILVER

Here for sale is my beloved 124 estate car. I had 2 of these and recently sold the other one also. We have bought a 2005 320 CDI Estate so this one has to go. I bought it from a friend last July and since have replaced both front wings and generally tidied up the car. She drives beautifully with that underlying reassurance that only Mercs of this era have. She is a 7 seat version as pictured and all the interior is in super condition with no wear or tears. The body is in above average condition for a car of this age with the only blemishes being around the aerial on the rear wing and just above the windscreen on the drivers side. The engine pulls smoothly and gearbox is silky smooth, this is not the most economical of cars but does better on long runs than around town. She has had only 3 owners and the previous keeper, a prominent Welsh Musician owned it since 1998. It had a new rear exhaust box for the last mot along with the handbrake being adjusted and a couple of bulbs other than this nothing else. the only other bad points are the sunroof seal could do with replacing through lack of use and the central locking does not work which I have not investigated.
