Dear potential Buyer,
If you are considering to buy G Wagon, then I am not going to tell you the whole history of the production or what is it capable off. I will tell you just about this particular Vehicle finished in Original Carmine Red color.
When I bought it, a year ago, she was in really poor state as She has been left neglected at the back yard for quite a while. I have decided to bring her back to the formal glory, as I always wanted to own one of these cars. It is took almost a Year to finish the project. I am very pleased with result and it is not just my personal opinion, but others people to ( Who took a part in Restoration process ) that this car probably is in the best condition out of all of them that left alive from this Year build. Unfortunately personal circumstances forcing me to sell Her.
Here is the bit about Her.
She has covered 48780 miles only.
New MOT until next February, went trough it with no advisories (No wonder)
The unreliable aluminum body 4 speed gearbox was replaced for 5 speed steel body from w461 military version ( designation G1/18-5/6,15 711.116 manual-5) The first choice for off-road use.
New Sachs clutch kit fitted.
The fender extensions were made in Germany back in 90s from special rubber, that will not brake as the plastic ones and they are bit wider than standard to accommodate massive wheels.The MOT station would not allow to use big wheels without suitable fenders.
Full body respray with proper preparation. I mean proper is that the rusty spots where cut out and new metal welded in. I do have pictures, as a prove. This paint will not fade with the time being, as it is a special mixture.
All liquids where replaced. Engine, Gearbox, Transfer-box, Front diff, rear diff. New antifreeze.
Good break pads.
It is not a brand new car, so there are few scratches and marks to the interior and windscreen is a bit milky in the corners and two small stone chips, that had been repaired previously.
On the way from Mot station the fuel tank gauge refused to work.
The Car priced accordingly and oly will go Up in the value, as not to many left in this condition.
