1987 Mercedes-Benz 300-Series 300TD 300 Td

I've owned this rare beauty since 1998. It is not just rare because it is a diesel wagon, but because: 1987 was the only year of the w124 that the diesel was a true 300TD. It is a 3.0L 6-cyl turbo diesel. She runs beautifully - and has always lived in Southern/Central California. It is with a heavy heart that I sell her!
She also runs on Biodiesel with no conversions. Always garaged, and only maintained by Mercedes Benz mechanics - I have all records plus a rare service manual. Rear suspension, alternator assembly, driveshaft center support, new air mass flow sensor, timing chain all replaced. New cylinder head and rebuilt transmission. All and more - again, done by certified mechanics.
New paint, no rust, no dents or dings. Upholstery is perfect with no tears - no cracks on dash. All original headrests. Headliner is perfect - no sags or stains. Has the folding back seat in the back. Sunroof works great. Beautiful Mercedes coco mats. The 208,295 mileage is not original-the cluster was replaced. I'm guessing it's closer to 243,000. Has been driven very little in the past 8 years, and always an around-town car.
With age comestailgate and driver's door do not stay open on own. Radio works - antenna doesn't. Passenger window behind driver - switch doesn't work. Tires - tread is low, need replacing. One passenger door panel has duct tape to hold speaker - see photo.
