Description
1980 300SD (W116) in good condition. Had for about 8 years, but don’t have time anymore for maintenance. Car drives well. Drove it down to Atlanta and back with no problems. Has a new head from Metric Motors. Radiator has been re-cored. Automatic transmission shifts well.
Rebuilt front end (ball joints, shocks, etc.) Has some rust and slight dent on passenger door and missing some trim.
Driver’s window working, but not the others. AC works, but anything over 70 degrees and it won’t keep up. No radio, didn't have the Beckers when I purchased it. Interior is good. Driver's front seat has some tears, hence the lamb seat cover. No cracks on the dash.
Heater works, but is manual (i.e., manually adjust the valve in the engine compartment), or install the manual lever that is included but not installed. Gas gauge not working. Actually, I think the gauge itself is working, but not the sender in the tank. Tires are in very good condition, still have many miles left.
Not insured, so you won’t be able to test drive. View the pics so you know what you are getting.
Ask any questions; be glad to answer them.
