Description

Up for auction is a 1990 Mercedes 300 SE in very good shape and with very low mileage. I bought this vehicle over a year ago from a German engineer who lives locally. The transmission had gone out of my vehicle so I decided to buy this Mercedes until I made a decision about what to do to replace my vehicle. This car came from out west and it has absolutely no rust on the frame or undercarriage or jack points. It has tinted windows and the interior is in good shape as you can see in the pictures. There are no lights on the dash and it has always passed emissions without a problem. All the power windows work as well as the power sunroof. The AC blows cold and there is no maintenance that needs to be done to the best of my knowledge. The vehicle is very comfortable to drive and that is why I have kept it. I have got to where I like Mercedes so I bought a newer one that is a diesel so that is the reason for the sale at this time. There are a few places on the exterior where the clear coat is peeling. I tried to take pictures so that you can see. There is also some discoloration where it looks like its been touched up. But these are minor areas. Overall the car is in good shape. The headlights were replaced with Euro-style headlights and corner lights. The car has never failed to start and is in my opinion, a good used vehicle. I have put almost 10,000 miles on this vehicle and believe I would have noticed a major problem at this point. These in-line 6-cylinder engines, from what I have been told, can go several hundred thousand miles with routine maintenance. I am not a dealer so I cannot offer any warranty whatsoever. If you are a local buyer then you are welcome to come and look at the car or drive it, but the car is being sold "as is". If you buy the car I will be happy to deliver the car to a shipper but you will need to make all the arrangements. I am putting a very reasonable price on the car and believe that the new owner will not be disappointed. Thank you for your interest, if you have any questions, please feel free to email me.
