Description
at 35 years old this Classic Collectors auto is a beautiful cream/ light yellow Mercedes sedan. It is in great mechanical and physical condition inside and out.
The tan buckskin interior is in excellent condition and all original. It has electric windows, door locks, and sunroof (all work). The AM-FM Cassette Stereo
comes with MP3 Adaptor. The rims have been refinished and window tint renewed.
This stately sedan with its characteristically reliable and economic diesel is a classic drive. The 3.0-liter turbocharged 110-hp inline-five
became available for the economy minded Americans in the late 1970's. The added custom designed and installed aluminum diesel
tank in the trunk provides for excellent travel range for cross-country drives. Mercedes pioneered many innovative safety features
that have now become commonplace and made this S-class one of the safest cars on the road.
Very little is needed to bring this classic automobile to showroom condition. The rear window glass has been infiltrated and could be replaced
along with it's gasket. The dash of the vehicle has a few small cracks in it, which can be repaired.
It is a one owner car that was owned by my Physician father-in-law in Austin, Texas and has been garage kept. It has 193,143 miles (an average
of 5,518/year). There are 2 sets of keys, one still in the file and never used. Maintenance records and receipts for last 20+ years. The value of this
sedan is over $13,000 according to Hagerty Price Guide and the NADA book.
