Sunnyside Chevrolet of Elyria, Ohio in conjunction with Greg's Sports, Classic, & Muscle is proud to offer for sale this beautiful 1983 Mercedes Benz 380SL.One owner family from new. Yep, that's correct long term ownership from new and then willed to a family member a year or so ago. Original paperwork from the selling dealer, original window sticker, original paint, interior. 65,000 miles. Lots of receipts for work done through the mid-'90s including a new brown canvas top that still looks excellent today. Spent a lot of its time in Florida and it shows. This is one original, solid old 380SL.When we received this car, we did a service that included an oil change, going through all the systems and making sure everything worked, including the factory air conditioning. This old Benz drives like a dream.Finished in stunning Orient Red over a Palomino Leather this is a terrific looking car as a convertible, with the like-new brown canvass top up or with the excellent condition hardtop installed for that great coupeaddition to fully servicing this Benz, we took the chance to do a solid color sand and bring the paint back to a beautiful finish. The original paint is extremely good with just some slight evidence of wear through on a couple of the edges- I'd bet if we didn't tell you- you'd never even see it.If you're looking for a very honest Mercedes SL this may very well be your car.Drive it, show it, keep it in a bubble and polish it as a prized possession, the choice is yours once you make it yours.We stand behind our thoughts on this car by offering our travel expenses guarantee- come see the car and if we have materially misrepresented its condition we will gladly pay half of your travel expenses up to $500.00- this offer had been in place since we sold our first classic and we haven't paid the money yet.
