Description

--------- PLEASE READ BEFORE MAKING AN OFFER-----------
Three days ago I changed the transmission fluid and made a rookie mistake of not putting in new transmission pan gasket as I had misplaced the replacement gasket. And for sure the old gasket started leaking after a day of driving. The car is (actually was) my daily driver and drives as well as shown in the videos but I do not drive it with the leak and would recommend against it and suggest a new gasket before driving. I don't want to be under the car again going through it all, again. Have too many projects and work to take care off. It served me really well but its time to say goodbye and work on my other cars.

Video and Pictures at the bottom of the description.

Daily driver, all original and a true survivor W124 1987 300D with very little rust, original engine and transmission. OM603 inline 6 turbo diesel engine which is rare for e class but many sdl(diesel s-class of the time) had it. Has a Wisconsin title now, some pictures are from Kansas when I was studying there. As it can be seen in the video it runs pretty strong. No smoke or oil eating, only time it smokes is at cold start in winters, just a puff of grey smoke. original paint on the car, looks pretty good other than driver side roofline which is faded. I keep a coat of carnauba wax to protect the original paint and would not suggest a repaint for an all original car. Original transmission which was rebuilt during last owners ownership. I suspect the glow plugs are new as the car starts in the dead of winters without hesitation.
Work done in the past 5 years include shocks and struts, transmission work and I personally did transmission flush, new transmission filter, engine oil change and flush, turbo gasket repair to keep boost in, new Mitchelin tires, new vacuum lines and transmission tuning(vacuum and bowden cable), transmission and engine was worked on by a mechanic in KC when previous owner owned it, AC relays replaced, climate control relays and related stuff, newer valve cover which I think is from a later sdl.
AC and heat works and original climate control temperature settings work as Mercedes intended them to. Power Memory seats work and seats do not sag. Cruise control does not work due to faulty/dirty speed sensor. Clean and reliable car which is very strong mechanically.
Required radio to be wired again, someone changed the radio to cd player and original radio is not currently wired.
It has the following options
