Description
This Is a No reserve auction. Bid to win.
What a great way to spend your tax return.. So Don't be afraid to make me a offer. All offers are considered.
This is a nice, solid rust free weekend cruiser. This was an original California classic transplanted in CT a few years ago. This car spent the first 20yrs being babied by the original owner. He averaged 3-5k miles a year.
This is a Good running solid collector car. Drive this anywhere.
Smooth engine, cushy ride. Mercedes got their Flagship W126 chassis dialed in right! A true classic, as the song goes."still runs good, built to last"!
This example has extremely Nice leather interior, nice original paint. Engine runs extremely well. Starts up smooth, transmission shifts smooth and crisp. Windows work, memory, power seats work. Sunroof works, heat works. (A/c worked, I put in a new condenser just needs a charge). All cigarette lighters work, ashtrays are clean, never smoked in. The infamous vacuum lock systems all work perfectly. Factory MB alarm works great!
Been upgraded to the desirable Bosch E Code glass headlights with the European parking indicators and daytime park running low beam.
New front grill, new radiator, ac condenser, new front rotors and pads 2,500 miles ago.
Replaced the infamous light control relays So all interior, dash and vantity lights work as they should.
Overall this is a very very nice original example. A head turner everywhere I take it.
Hood needs to be painted, I had to replace it as the original hood got damaged. (Still have original hood if you want it)
Original manuals and original MB USA finance Map included. Original MB audio tapes, never opened all included. Original radio (although not working) still in car. Never hacked with aftermarket radio. Original tool kit included, as well as 3 original MB keys and 1 valet key all included.
This is solid original car. I'd happily cruise down the highway is this 80's Mercedes, anywhere. I've enjoy this car tremendously and all I can is hope that it goes to a good home to someone who appreciates its and keeps this car preserved.
Good luck bidding! BIN is set below the NADA blue book value of this car.
Car will be sold with clean CT title.
Remember, you are buying an older car, excpect paint blimishes, door dings etc. you are buying this car as-is, no warranty implied or expressed.
Car is bing advertising locally, I reserve the right the cancel this auction should it sell.
