Description
Mercedes300sl sports convertible,1991, gleaming signal red,with mushroomleather interior, cream carpets with cream Mercedes overmats.
Fittedwith the original Mercedes 8-hole alloys (in mint condition) with a brand new set oftyres, Electric seats, Heated seats,Headlamp wash-wipe, rearseats,etc.
Ithas covered 125,000 miles, It has just had a majorservice/overhaul, including oil and filter change, transmission fluid change, brake fluid change,. It has had over£4000 recently spent keeping it in lovely condition,including a newAutomatic gearbox,new brakes,new battery,brand new tyres,etc etc. Lotsof service invoices and bills.
Thesemodels were the last of the properly-built Mercedes. Sailed throughthe MOT in July with no problems. Drives beautifully,with a smoothpowerful straight-six engine.
The audio system has been sensibly updated with a new Sony CD player/radio.
Inbeautiful shiny condition for a 25 year old car, it is a realhead-turner, with excellent wood trim and lovely leather andcarpetsThe paintwork is sparkling,and people have even commented onhow good it still looks. The soft-top has a few issues,the plastic rearwindows have a few splits due to age,but i will include a specialistplastic window repair kit with the car,should you wish to have it done. Iwill also include a hard-top stand with wheels,handy to store thehardtop in your garage.
Comeswith tool kit in boot, warning triangle and Log book/old MOT's withloads of bills and service invoices.
Dontconfuse this car with the usual poorly-maintained scruffy Mercedessports of this era, this really is a lovely car, and a real headturner. With the earlier W107 chrome-bumper 300SL in good condition nowfetching£20,000+, these 1991 cars are now excellent value formoney, especially in this condition. A future classic. Sensibleinsuranceand road tax too.
I have reduced the price of this car to sell,as it is the middle of winter. Don't hang about,in spring this car will be going up in value.I have listed at £3995. That's what i want for it. No silly offers thanks!
