Description
Thank you for taking interest in this charming
1979 Mercedes-Benz SLC 450
VIN:10702412024912
Odometer is at 131,814 (no longer is tuning current miles)
The car was purchased from a big SL enthusiast who to simply put was over-run by the many SL's that he accumulated over the years.
I was told the person he bought it from was the original owner.
The car is very suave, total late 70's vibe every time you drive.
A super fun, reliable, and, rare car to add to your collection or have as daily diver. Everyday i expect the car to work flawlessly.
Everyday i expect this car to work flawlessly.
Minor issues:
- could use a tune-up
- the A/C and heaterwas working exceptionally, it had freezing cold A/C but when i went toturn the car over this week noticed the blower fan stopped blowing air.
- the power windows/sunroof works spotty (I believe the switches just need to be replaced, could be fuses?)
- it takes 5 mins for the car to warm up in the morning, I've been told this is completely normal.
-paint/clear coat is failing, mainly on the top facing surface of thecar (If you got a paint job this car would be the head turningqueen/king it really should be)
- interior could eventually be restored seats have tears dash cracking and rear seat has been removed.
- radio could be replaced.
Not perfect but it wont take much work to bring this one back to its golden days, folks.
Any questions please don't hesitate to ask, i want to be as helpful as i can be.
