Not so good Bits: -
Central locking has become intermittent. Always locks but usually needs to be opened manually (should be an easy fix, as it used to work perfectly last year)
A few minor marks consistent with age (noticeably a parking scuff front right corner)
Driver’s seat bolster has a small hole in it
Soft-top not new and 2-side windows are cracked (but I have a repair kit)
Air-Con not blowing cold
Selling due to intensive job leaving me with limited time to enjoy it (I have only driven circa 200 miles in the last year)….
Had always intended to get the car up to a perfect standard, but just never had the time (and now accept that I probably never will). That said the car is fine, looks great, is reliable and is perfectly usable as is. It’s a joy to drive with the roof down, but it would be a shame not to get it looking perfect which was always my intention. I have got 30mpg on a run so it’s not as bad on fuel as you might expect (if you are gentle with it). Will be sad to see the car go, but it’s a waste having it sitting in my garage only being taken out a handful of times per year….. Appreciating classic – the value will only rise going forwards! Priced realistically for a quick sale.
Please note – the Private registration number is not included in the sale, I have currently applied for a replacement number (should be on a ‘K’-reg).
