The Benz is registered in Qld where our son lived but is now stored at "Mum and Dad's house" at postcode 2481 (Myocum NSW) just off the Pacific Highway and under an hour easy freeway drive south of the Qld border.

*Please note that the "close door button" on the electronic ignition keyhas just stopped working for us for some reason, perhaps from not being usedsince our son and family moved overseas in Jan this year so we have hadto unlock the car doors with the factory supplied mechanical key. However, the electronic key will lock the car and boot and unlock the boot. Also, the check enginelight came on recently, we had it checked and it was found to indicate that the downstreamO2 sensor will need replacing in time. This does not effect theperformance or reliability of the car, simply it is warning thatreplacement will need doing in time. It does not affect the fuel economy or performance of thevehicle at all which is controlled by the "upstream" 02 sensor for those who know mechanical stuff.
