In July, 2021 the fuel tank was removed and acid cleaned while a new fuel pump, filter and associated fuel lines were replaced. A new battery was installed and the car runs, however the Fuel Distributor will need to be rebuilt as it is not distributing fuel to the injectors adequately thus causing operational irregularities. Also, the fuel injectors may possibly need to be cleaned and or replaced.
***NOTE*** A Fuel Distributor Kit can be purchased and you can Rebuild the KE-Jetronic Fuel Distributor yourself by following the below YouTube videos.

BOSCH C.I.S JETRONIC FUEL DISTRIBUTERREBUILD, Mercedes & Others Essentially, clean fuel is being delivered to the distributor, which is unable to effectively process and distribute it due to Varnish, Buildup and Gunk in the distributor and the injectors. This is why your fuel needs to carefully managed and additives strongly considered.
This Classic/Rare vehicle is being offered "as is", and with a small investment in the fuel system should be worth between$10,000 and $20,000.
I LOVE this vehicle, however I don't have the time or space needed to comfortably work on this project and it should be completed and enjoyed by another.
***NOTE*** There are plenty of YouTube videos on how to work on these Mercedes Benz engines that are extremely helpful. For this particular issue just go to YouTube.com and search for Mercedes KE-Jetronics and a vast amount of instructional videos will appear.
