Description
Private Sale - Mercedes-Benz C-Class Sports Coupe C180 Kompressor Damaged Repairable Cat C
The car was damaged in the rear drivers side portion of the car on 18 December 2014. The car suffered damage to the rear drivers side wing, drivers- side rear suspension and rear bumper. The insurance company considered the vehicle not economically viable to repair and catagorised it a Cat C write off.
In the last year I have spend £600 replacing the gear box and torque converter and over a £1000 replacing the two front wings (with genuine Mercedes parts) and a partial respray. In addition to this the car had an engine rebuild by Mercedes Dealers at ~40,000 miles. The car is MOT until April 14. The car still drives but is not road legal and required a VIC test (£40) at the local DVLA test center.
Since the accident the car has had the rear subframe replaced, suspension parts, and Alloy wheel with genuine parts to repair the damage. I have also bought a replacement salvage bumper which has been fitted. Mechanically the car has been returned to its pre-crash condition. The car requires some body work to return the car to its pre accident best. As previously stated the car requires a VIC test before returning to the road. Sold as seen, I urge you to view the car. Serious buyers and offers only please.
Sold as seen, no return or warranty offered.
