2001 MERCEDES CL500 AUTO SILVER

Here we go again. This might be third time lucky? Though to be honest I am not sure I really want to sell this car? It really does make you feel rather special every time you get in it! I have been messed around by the last 2 'buyers' who won the car and then did not complete the sale! Very annoying and has cost me money on the last 2 occasions. Please if you are not sure then come and view the car or just do not bother bidding. Please dont spoil it for everyone else. Here we have my very nice CL 500. If you know these cars you also know that they have just about everything you could want in a car. I took this as a part exchange on my Ferrari 456. I had always fancied one and decided to give it a go. What a car! Smoother than the Ferrari, quieter than the Ferrari, more toys than the Ferrari and all round much easier to live with than the Ferrari. The servicing and maintenance is much more affordable than the Ferrari as well. Possibly not quite as quick but not a lot in it. The chap who I bought the car from had owned it from 2005. I have the Mercedes service history up to 68,000 miles and I have all the MOTs to verify the current mileage of 92,767. The car was sorned between 2007 and 2009 and there are obviously no MOTs for that period but I do have the SORN letters. The car drives beautifully. The engine is great and the gearbox is so smooth. The body work is really nice. There is a small crease by the rear wheel arch as shown in the picture and there is a small plastic cover missing from the jack point. I will try and locate one before the end of the sale but no guarantees. It is a small pop in part. The wheels are like new and the tyres are great. The front two have less than 2000 miles on them. The front of the car has the usual stonechips you would expect from a car that cruises easily at 100 mph. The car has MOT up until the 11th of September but the car has done less than 200 miles since the last MOT. As you can see the car does not get used as much as it should hence the sale. I have owned the car for a year now and it really needs someone to use it more than I have. I have all the Mercedes Wallet and booklets and I have 2 working keys. Essential on a car of this quality. The satnav is working and I have the disc for France as well as the UK fitted disc. The hydraulic suspension works as it should and the electrics all function properly. The last 2 times I listed the car I had literally hundreds of watchers and a number of bidders. These cars are very desirable but it is essential to find one that is well looked after and in great condition.
