Description
For sale is my Mercedes CLK 430 Elegance. I have owned this car for 5 years now and was previously owned by my Dad.
First registered 29/11/1999
Taxed until 30/08/2014
Current MOT until 20/09/2014. Booked in for MOT on 11/7/2014 so will come with full years MOT.
Full service history and always maintained by my local garage or by myself.
Mileage 130700
Service being carried out same time as MOT.
The bodywork is obsidian black which is a good condition having had all 4 wheel arches professionally repaired 3 years ago.
There are a couple of small areas now showing signs of bubbling paint. Nothing major.
The alloy wheels are genuine 18inch AMG type III staggered front and rear and with polished rims. The wheels are in good condition apart from a couple of very small marks.
Tyres all have loads of thread left.
Fronts 7mm 1 year old
Rears 8mm 1 month old
The interior is full grey leather which is in a good condition with no rips,tears or sagging. Rear seats rarely get used. Dash board looks great considering the age of the car. The front seats are fully electric
Electric windows,electric sunroof,electric folding mirrors.
Front and rear parktronic which comes in handy when parking in a tight space.
The car comes with a Alpine 6.5inch dash screen which is radio/CD player/DVD player/iPod connectivity and all works from Mercedes steering wheel controls . It also has a Alpine sat nav attached.
Front speakers have been upgraded with Alpine two ways. Also small sub and amp in boot which is very subtle. More quality over quantity.
The car drives very well with plenty of power from the bulletproof V8 engine
And is a pleasure to drive. The auto box is smooth and the tiptronic gear change works perfectly but I very rarely use it. The car is only really driven at weekends as I have a vehicle I use for work so I don't get to drive it as much as I'd like.
The only negative points about this car is the air con could do with a re gas and the passenger seat back and fourth motor some times blows the fuse. Apart from that, this is a very reliable car and I will be very sorry to see it go but have to sell because it's that time to buy a family car.
