Mercedes CLK 55 AMG Convertible

Introduction - For Sale is this incredible motoring legend. The Mercedes CLK 55 AMG, in metallic black with grey leather upholstery. Comes with the standard Mercedes Alarm/Immobiliser along with 2 sets of keys.
This is the convertible model, tiptronic gearbox with F1 paddle-shift controls, registered on the 24th October 2003. Having only had 2 former keepers, this car has been lovingly cherished for the last 12 years, regularly serviced and having recently had all oil seals replaced, gearbox and engine oil replaced along with a newly fitted oil filter and is now running absolutely perfectly.
If you're an AMG enthusiast, you'll know the technical spec of these cars, but if you're not so familiar, it achieves a breath-taking 0-60 in 4.7 seconds, top speed 156 and delivers 367bhp.
Bodywork - The bodywork, in metallic black, is stunning, has very few marks, no stone chips and no scuffs or dents. It looks like a car only a few years old, has the standard boot spoiler along with an immaculate black soft top.
The electric roof works silently and folds away perfectly into the boot.
You may have noticed from the pictures, a 4-branch exhaust system, not normally found on an AMG 55. I had this small modification made earlier this year, and I have to say it has transformed the car.
Wheels/Tyres - The wheels are immaculate, recently refurbed in a beautiful grey finish, original 18" AMG alloys, fitted with 225/40/18's on the front and 255/35/18's on the rear. All 4 tyres have plenty of tread.
The front calipers are red with AMG logos.

Interior - The interior is absolutely stunning, the rear seats look brand new, even the front seats have very little wear. The only sign of wear, as with most cars, is the driver's bolster, but even this looks fine, very faint wear, certainly doesn't resemble a car that is 12 years old.
It has the original AMG car mats which are further protected with black over-mats.
All electrics in the car work fine, including ice-cold AC, electric heated memory seats, both driver's and front passenger seats have electric seat controls, including fully working bolster controls. The command system has a fully working up to date GPS system. The centre armrest has a Bluetooth device connected to the car's phone cradle allowing you to connect any mobile phone and controlling the phone from the car's own telephone controls. It has auto lights (Xenon) and auto rain sensors.
The centre console is ice-cold, doubling up as a fridge, there is also a fully working CD changer in the glove box.
There is an auto-dimming rear-view mirror along with the usual AMG refinements, including front and rear parking sensors.
The rear interior of the car also features AC controls behind the centre console.
History - The car has plenty of documentation to back up the mileage, fully stamped service book, original Mercedes wallet containing all the original books. The car was originally serviced at a Mercedes Main agent and later at a Mercedes specialist.
The car has previous MOT certificates and has just had a fresh MOT, with no advisories, (as expected)
I have owned the car for 2 years, and in that time I have only covered 4K miles. Even with very little use, I have had the oil and filter changed for the past 2 years, most recently a few weeks ago.
Summary - There is absolutely nothing that needs attention, I am more than happy for you to have the car inspected at your expense.
You need to view the car to really appreciate how special she is.
I encourage you to view other AMG's before viewing this one just so you can compare mine to any other's for sell.
I'm confident you won't find anything better for the money and I can promise you that you'll have the biggest smile on your face when you start her up and hear that V8 raw. It really sounds like no other car on the road.
Lastly, please do not come round and expect to take her out for a good thrashing, I have cherished this car for 2 years and I am not willing to let anyone drive her, without suitable insurance and a deposit in case you can't handle the power.
