Description
For sale is my E220 CDI which I have owned for the last 6 years.
Its a lovely deep metallic green with a light cream cloth interior. Very rare combination. Matching floor mats with green piping included.
It has a fitted single electric tow bar, and all usual Mercedes refinements. It has a service history until I bought it - and I've changed the oil/filter myself every 8/9 thousand miles. All recorded in the service book. Everything works as it should and she returns over 60 mpg on motorways when driven sensibly. It has a very convenient in-dash multi-CD player - and radio/cassette player.
New torque convertor was fitted two years ago and new coil springs all round ( one broke so I guessed it was only a mater of time before another went ). The wheels are alloy upgrade from an '07 Elegance model. ( these are perfectly serviceable, but all have slight scuffs, kerbing and a tiny amount of bubbling.). A new starter motor was fitted last year and the n/s front headlight cluster was replaced last year only for cosmetic reasons as the glass was beginning to lose its clarity.
There is very slight paint damage to the rear bumper, and a few very superficial light scratches in the laquer. This car is in remarkably good condition and will make someone a very nice reliable, good looking economical family car, and surprisingly cheap to maintain
Last MOT was Sept '14 at 169,700 miles. Has done just 4000 miles since and has been SORN since January when I took delivery of a later model.
Will accept cash on collection. No overseas buyers please.
