2003 Mercedes E270 CDI E55 Black Edition Replica
Sadly the time has come to sell my much loved Mercedes. Ive owned this car for over a year now and all the work carried out has been under my ownership.
The car is a 2003 avantgarde spec which comes fully loaded with cruise control, auto rain sensitive wipers, auto xenon headlights, satnav and dvd headunit with 6 disk changer, dual climate control, full black electric leather, premium sound system with built in subwoofer.
The cars Mot'd until december 2015, it has had a recent major service including gearbox oil and filter changed, New engine mounts and injector seals.
it currently has 180,000 miles however this is nothing for one of these engines and still feels very fit and pulls great.
In Septemeber of 2014 the car was involved in a minor accident damaging driverside wing and part of the bumper which i claimed on the insurance for. I have photos of the damage for buyer to see how little it actually was.
Since then i have spent ££'s making this one of, if not the best looking E55 replicas around including;
full respray in Radiant red with black roof and accent trims (previously silver, all door checks have been painted)fully face lifted to 2008 using E55 front and rear bumpersAMG wide front wingsAMG deep front grillQuad AMG style exhaust (No horrible exhaust sounds, purely aesthetics) AMG rear boot spoilerPolarized blue glass all roundlowered 50mm on springs and shocks19" Mclaren SLR style turbine wheels with stretched tyres and 40mm wheel spacers all roundRx8 bucket seats custom mounted with piano black rearsA few things to mention; The seats when fitted have caused the airbag light to come on due to the airbag in the seats plug being different. This cant be resolved by adding an inline resistor, ive just not got round to doing this. (i have photo of diagnostics computer showing airbag fault is down to the seats)
The rear centre brake light lense has a slight crack in but hasnt really bothered me. The wheel spacers have been removed when i had the wheels balanced and tracking done but will come with car.
This truly is one of the nicest replicas around and gets comments and attention everywhere it goes, often passing off as the real thing.
The private plate thats on the car will be removed before the sale of the car and will be back on its original reg (AJ03 VBB)
