Description

Hi! I'm reluctantly selling my 1995 Mercedes E300 Diesel as our family is growing and we need a larger vehicle. I bought this two years ago from a guy in Kansas, had it in Texas and have been driving it in Michigan for over a year while in graduate school. It has never been in an accident and has a clean record with no loan/lien or other stuff on the title. This has been a reliable daily driver for me, and I've put a fair share of money and love into its upkeep. Here is a list of things that I've done since owning it:
-brand new suspension front and rear (all OEM parts from Germany-this includes coil springs, multi-link suspension, tie rods, ball joints, mounts, Bilstein heavy duty shocks, etc.)
-all new glow plugs (this was quite the headache, but glad it was done!)
-new Michelin tires (less than 15K miles)
-Class 1 trailer hitch receiver (with trailer wiring installed)
-new multi function relay
-new overload relay
-tinted windows all around (35%)
-new WeatherTech rubber floor mats
Before I got the car, it had a new battery installed and it already had the A/C evaporator replaced (a common issue on these cars).
Exterior: The car has a few rust spots here and there, nothing gaping or structural. The paint is a little faded and the clearcoat has a few peeling places on the driver's side door.
Interior: The inside is immaculate, the seats are in excellent condition with no rips or tears, the headliner is perfect, the dash has no cracks in it. The only negative is that the leather on the steering wheel is ripped, but other than that, it's great!
The car drives well and shifts smoothly. All electrics work other than the radio, from which the antenna broke. Nevertheless, there is an auxiliary output through the tape deck that allows you to hook it up to your phone or iPod headphone jack.
If you're interested, please let me know. Also, I would prefer that you have some knowledge about these cars, as they do require some love and respect. I'd love to let you give it a test drive to try it out for yourself! I only have one picture up so far, but please email me and I'd be more than happy to send you more pictures.
