1987 w124 300d turbo diesel.
OM603 3L straight 6 Turbo diesel.

Ill make the bold statement of australias fastest 300D. The turbos are a very rare fine but no others would be worked in such a way.

This has been a project of mine for a few years and its time to let her go to another home because i bought a e55 merc.

I bought this car with the turbo already installed but it really wasnt very good.
Long story but after over a year of working on it in my free time i found the precup seals were missing. This was possiably from the head being done on it and them being left out.

After fixing that issue and installing an American injection pump with boost compensation it came alive and it pulled 740nm at the wheels on the dyno at 400° egt.

even the guys at the dyno place couldn't believe how quick this car was with out having to flog it when they took it for a drive around the block.

This car turns heads just from the turbo spool it has. Once its off idle it sounds like supra turbo ect ect.

The car is in good condition and has amazing dark blue interior. Power windows. Power steering. Aircon that works great. Cd player. Disk brakes . Abs

The car has had lots and lots of work done to it. To name a few things.

Custom high mount Veriable vane turbo ( from a hilux)
2 3/8 customer exhaust from turbo back with 2 hi flow mufflers.
Custom intake with 300mm turbo spec pod by uni filter.
Custom intake manifold
New monark injector tips and pop pressure raised to us turbo spec.
New 2" lowered pedders.
New bilstein front shock and strut tops.
American turbo injector pump with rebuild boost comp.
Hiflow thermostat
Boost & egt guages.
Dark tints.
near new rear tyres
Super white 120+ headlight globes

The car runs up to around 30psi and comes onto boost very quickly and from low rpm.
It sits really well on the road and is awesome too drive.
My friend is the number 1 salesman for ford in sydney and he said it sits and corners better that most the the cars he sells.

I am yet to totally finish this car but iv been driving it for the last 2 year and up unitll i bought my e55.
please note the intake is fully covered now and that photo is just to show the pod.
cool air comes from under the headlight and has its own grill.

The things that need fixing are.

Left rear wheel bearing.
Rear driveshaft boot.
Rear lower control arm outer bushers.
Injector pump slight oil leak.
Inlet manifold leak.
Speed cable.
Needs a polish

car still drives fine and if nobody buys the car ill just fix the problems myself and raise the sale price.

Other performance parts and mod i have ready to fit are.

Usa turbo engine oil cooler kit. Very hard to find.
Massive Gearbox cooler
Gearbox shift correction kit ( shift kit ect ect )
