2003 Mercedes Benz G55 AMG Designo Edition (Low 56k Miles) Alabaster White

2003 Desgino Edition G55 with low miles in Alabaster white (9960) with a black designo interior. I bought this car from a friend about a year ago so I know its history well and have all of the service records including the original window sticker. Technically its a 1 owner car as it originally was owned by my fathers friend and was later passed down to his son.
This Mercedes Benz G55 is in Alabaster white with black Designo Edition leather Interior. The interior is in excellent shape, I would say a 9.8 out of 10. The seats have no tears and the leather is in excellent shape. The paint is original and is in great condition for a 2003. As far as I know the car has lived its life garaged and has been well cared for. Other than a small blemish on the front left fender flare (shown in pics) I would give the paint a 8.5 out of 10.
The Desingo Edition includes an upgraded black/anthracite leather interior that includes brush guards on the front blinkers and rear lights of the car. It also included a few extra high end options such as leather/burl wood steering wheel and selector lever and a multi-function heated steering wheel. I have removed the rear brush guards as I prefer the car without however I will include them in the sale if you wish to re-install. I will also include the original front plate bracket (not shown), I removed it because its not required in the state of FL.
This G-Wagon has only 56,402 miles and has been well cared for. The original window sticker states a purchase price of $ 91,420.00 The following new parts/upgrades have been done recently:
- New 285/55R18 Perelli Scorpion Zero Tires (over $1k)
- New upgraded OEM front window regulators (These are known to be a weak point - both drivers & passanger were upgraded with new style regulators $$$)
- Replaced rubber roof Antenna
- New stop lamp switch
- New Pedal Travel Sensor/Sender
- New OEM MB Battery installed
- New Transfer case electric motor
- New Wipers front & back
- New Air Filter & Cabin Air Filter
- Recent Oil change and New Filter (Mobile 1)
- Upgraded door strikers to G63
- New brakes, Rotors, Pads and Sensors front and back
- New DOT4 Brake fluid
- New AMG floor mats front & back
- New Phillips Hi-intensity Headlights
- Upgraded Euro-style front clear side turn signal lenses (shown in pic)
Included in auction are both original keys (shown in picture) the rear load-space cover and all original documentation and manuals plus service receipts. I am also including the original untouched first aid kit and a black NAV cd holder including updated 2006 map CD's.
In the spirit of full disclosure here are a few things that I would say are not perfect. Most people would not notice but I am a perfectionist with my cars and want any buyer to be aware.
1) As mentioned, the front left fender flare has a paint blemish that you will notice only under careful inspection.
2) The painted sections on all 4 rims are in good condition however the outer rim has a clear coat covering the aluminum that has started to oxidize and flake off. An easy inexpensive fix would be to buff off the clear and polish the aluminum alloy making the 18 inch AMG rims look new. You can see a bit of this blemish in some of the rim pictures.
3) There is a very small drip of oil coming from the oil sensor - I was told this is a simple gasket fix.
4) As shown in my pictures, there a few small spots where the headliner fabric has begun to sag a bit. Small enough that it could be easily repaired instead of replacing.
Other than that car is in great condition, drives well and looks great. Kelly Blue Book values the car at $ 48,000.00 (retail) and $44,000.0 (wholesale) in good condition with 56k miles. I will start the auction at $43.8k I require a $500 paypal deposit upon close of auction and require the remainder of funds before vehicles is shipped away.
