Description

Hello,
Re-listed due to non-paying bidder. Do not bid unless you intend to purchase the vehicle.
Early G VINs are weird and aren't enter-able. The VIN is 46033227023579.
Sadly I need to sell my G-Wagon. I was "had" by the person who sold it to me. He didn't divulge all the issues with it. I want to be sure to tell prospective buyers every pertinent issue so they know what they are buying.
Issues that I know of:
Non-professional right hand drive to left hand drive conversion, I have a correct pedal set that will go with it. Center console is rhd, dash was converted by moving stuff over. Some switches are aftermarket, broken or missing. Not sure if heater controls work (I suspect not). Passenger side door has no limit on it so it swings open and dents the door. Drivers window regulator needs to be replaced (works but skips). Rocker panels need rust repairs. Needs paint. Many dash functions/switches/lights don't work. Needs water pump soon, gets a bit hot when idling at a stop light. Rear brake cylinders have bleed valve broken off, I suspect that their is a bubble in the lines. Fuel sending unit has a wire off and isn't accurate.Glove box is for show, doesn't open due to conversion. Minor water leak in firewall. Has a power leak somewhere, I suspect it's the aftermarket electric door locks. Wipers are RHD direction. Rubber rub rails are missing and the holes were bondo'ed over. The paint is bubbling up along the rail areas and near brake lights. Right front tire has a very slow leak. I think the tire needs to be reseated.
New/extra parts either included or already installed:
Steering damper (w461 with extension/mount) installed
New battery
Custom made shift extension with hurst ball knob, installed
Original handles
Brand new exhaust from downpipe back.
Runs strong, shifts smooth, frame and spring perches appear to be excellent for the age of the car. Has had some rust repairs and paint in the past (used to be red) but not done professionally. Will likely need to be gone over and fixed. (See pics and video) Nothing major as all body parts are still available. Tires are about 85-90% left. Any questions please ask prior to bidding. Due to the age of the vehicle it is sold AS-IS. Inspections are welcome and encouraged. Vehicle is located in Manchester, CT.
