Mercedes-benz 350 SL (1972) 2D Sports 4 SP Automatic (3.5L - Fuel Injected)

A sound car that was restored some years back although the metallic gold paint job is poor (small blisters, blemishes and runs) yet it looks good and will suffice for a long time. There are a few minor rust spots (bottom of passenger door, edge of the boot lid and around some fittings) but nothing structural as the vehicle was obviously stripped and overhauled as part of its restoration. There are minor wear spots in the seats and a crack in the dash - all consistent with its age but the fitted sheep skin seat covers hide this. The red interior is good for its age. The car drives well and brakes and tyres are in good condition. Imported from the UK so dials are in miles. Good sound system and electrics all work. Hard top has minor rust (a good spare comes with the car - silver) and the soft top needs replacing (a new soft top kit comes with the car). It's an honest car that will respond well to some work. Actual milage unknown - shows 17631 (but it's been around the clock). Vehicle is unregistered. Popular Nardi wooden steering wheel and gear knob.
