Mercedes Benz W126 560SEL import HC engine not 450SEL 420SEL 300SEL 280SEL Lexus

I'm selling my 1989 Mercedes Benz 560SEL import as I have far too many projects and I've run out of space. This particular model was the long awaited replacement for the famous 450SEL 6.9, since it has the very desirable high compression engine with at least 205kW.
I believe this one was privately imported from Hong Kong. Although it looks like an Aussie 560SEL, performance was quite different at 7.2s 0-100kmh and a top speed in excess of 240kmh. It has an alloy block and heads, SOHCs and Bosch CISE fuel injection. Compression has been tested and is consistent along each bank. The exhaust has 4 pre-cats plus a single cat where the Aussie ones are fitted. The transmission is a 4 speed auto with two modes plus 'B' position and the diff is a 2.65 LSD. It also has IRS, 4 wheel disc brakes, ABS and light alloy wheels.
The front and rear leather seats are electric, with the front ones having powered headrests, plus seat memory on both sides. It has power windows, sunroof and LH door mirror, along with central locking, AC, cruise control, fog lights and headlight washers/wipers.
The paint is smoke silver metallic 702G. The interior is a lovely burgundy color which is generally in good condition. It has a Pioneer CD player and manual HVAC instead of the problematic automatic systems fitted to the Aussie ones.
It doesn't have books (like many Euro cars), so I cannot verify the mileage but I have no reason to doubt it. I believe she's an excellent investment and will only increase in value if given the appropriate TLC.
The car is being sold with no battery and will need to be towed for safety, as the brakes haven't seen much action in the last few years. I can take additional photos on request, but inspection is recommended. Scammers or tyre kickers need not apply. It is eligible for a Club Permit in Victoria, so you can go cruising without the high cost of annual full registration.
