1993 Mercedes E-Class Sedan (E280) W124 model Silver E280 Sedan in Excellent Condition for sale. Ihave owned this vehicle for 2 years now and maintained it fastidiously.I purchased it with 171K on the clock and it now reads 195K. I haveused it for my daily commute from Coburg tomy medical practices in Northcote and Hawthorn as well as longer tripsto the country, Great Ocean Rd etc. It is a great carand never failed me once. It drives beautifully, is smooth, safe andstable and particularly comes into its own on the open road.
It has the usual Mercedes Benz refinements including:
- Black leather interior
- Air conditioning (two-zone)
- CD changer (original factory item)
- Power windows all round
- Drivers airbag
- 17 inch alloys
Aside from standard servicing I have had the following items attended to:
- Sunroof overhauled prior to sale
- New tyres (x4) in February 2014
- Timing belt + tensioner changed in 2012
- New coolant reservoir in 2014
- New wiper blades in 2013
- Wheel alignment in 2014
- New battery May 2014
Additionally the wiring loom (an expensive item that commonly fails in these cars if not replaced) had already been replaced prior to me purchasing it.
The body work is in very good condition overall.There are no dents, or rust. There are some minor scratches howevernothing out of the ordinary for a 20 year old car.
It will be sold with Rego until Feb 2015 and new RWC.
