Description
WORK HORSE LOOKING FOR A NEW FARM
This Mercedes ML has been a good car and has been well looked after.
The Bad: Earlier this year I had installed a new Inlet Manifold (Valeo Plastic Manifold Kit) and Servo motor due the flaps locking up. Once this was done the car has had trouble with boost and when the fault is cleared drives so well for 10 minutes and then returns to limp mode. There is a few possibilities, one been faulty servo motor another been a wiring problem. I have bought another car whilst this one was been worked on and now I don't need it - there are plenty of forums with information and the car is mechanically sound other than this issue. I am not sure if the fuel gauge is working but the electronic range seems to work. The paint work is chipped and in need of some TLC. Currently the car is under-powered and I wouldn't advise driving to far - If you need to drive if you use the gears in tiptronic you can travel slowly up to around 110km.
The Good:
The car has a A.C.T Roadworthy Certificate valid for 6 more days.
The car has near new Bilstien Suspension all round
Good Condition ECB Bullbar
7 Seats
2 Keys
Power Sunroof (fully functional)
6 Power Windows
New Inlet Manifold
No warning lights on dash
Good Brakes and Tyres (as per rego check)
Very clean underbody
5 Months Rego
Handles well
Gear box feels tight and smooth
Washes up nicely
This car has a lot of kms and a lot left in it - once the flap issue is sorted this will be a good car that will not let you down. With the bullbar there is twice the reserve in parts alone on this car. The new manifold cost $1390 less the 1000km ago.
Any other questions just send me a message. Inspections prior to auction finishing. Bid to buy - payment within 3 days/pickup.
