1982 Mercedes 300D converted to WVO
Mileage is roughly 300k, odometer broke several years ago. This car was ran as a daily driver until 6 months ago and was last driven any significant distance 2 months ago. The car starts, but has developed a small rear brake line leak, so I highly suggest the car be towed to its next destination. The glow plug light does not come on, which likely means at least two of the glow plugs are out. This car needs plugged in when its colder than 20 deg outside.
The vehicle will run on diesel or vegetable oil.
The vehicle was converted to run on WVO in 2007. I will give more details on this if the buyer is interested. Briefly it has a 13 gallon tank in the trunk with two fuel pumps, a second fuel filter and a vegtherm inline fuel heater for the vegetable oil. The switch for the wvo is near the radio. I would not recommend using this second tank with diesel.
Recent work includes a starter two years ago, done at a shop, front wheel bearings, done diy, and rebuilt power steering pump, diy and no leaks 2 years later.
The Ohio title says "Rebuilt Salvage". No ideas here it has driven fine since we owned it in 2006/7.
The A/C did work a few years ago, but the cruise control never worked.
