Black R500 2006 Well Maintained

The comments below are meant to be honest and candid to the best of my ability!
Internal Condition: Driver seat has some cracks in leather. Other seats worn but in good condition. There are some stains on interior carpet but has been extensively detailed and in nice clean condition. All electronics work. Head set for DVD player included. Navigation DVD is out of date. Replacement cost about $500. Navigation occasionally needs resetting. Has a 6 deck CD player in the glove box. Smoke free. NEVER BEEN SMOKED IN
External Body Condition: Minor scratches on body consistent with age. One on door and one under driver head light from parking too close to the edge. No dents or other obvious body damage. Never been in an accident. One paint repair job done to hood when tree sap damaged paint several years ago. All repairs, internal, engine and body work (paint etc) done at dealer.
Engine: Regularly serviced at dealer. All repairs done at the dealer but not all the records have been kept. However, dealer has records if buyer wants to inquire. Two dealers used- Catonsville and Ownings Mills. Extensive repairs including new wheel air bags (for hydraulic suspension). Again, dealers will have all records of all repairs done to the vehicle. Older Benzes tend to need more oil. (according to dealer) This is true of this car and oil needs to be put in between services but can do this yourself. No need to pay the dealer. Although, at a Mercedes dealer you can just pull in and request an oil top up for free if you are passing. They will check the level and put up to 3 qts. for free. The engine has been thoroughly inspected by dealer for other causes of high oil use. No leaks/engine damage found. This was done at Owinings Mills. Car is high mileage, but has at least another 100,000 in it (according to dealer). In fact dealer said he wouldn't get rid of it yet but we wanted a change after so many years.

Generally, car in good condition. It reflects its age given the good care that was taken of it. Fun to drive. Drives more like a car than an SUV. Very useful and versatile. Has been well used hauling kids, groceries, and the odd pet. On driveway all 4 passengers can put their heads out of the moon roof for extra fun! Can seat 6 people comfortably for long distances. One of the DVD players tends to jump. Can be fixed but as kids got older DVD became less important and never done. It is a safe car but very powerful compare to its littler 350 version so care with younger drivers. However, it's solid luxury car frame provides a very safe environment in case of an accident. More like driving a tank safety wise! The 500 is rarely seen on the road because the initial cost is over $100,000. This car has every option- fully loaded including lighted cup holders! The keyless driver lock (pressing a button) sometimes doesn't work and you need to use the other door but haven't found that to be a big deal. The keyless entry is fantastic though! Selling the car because wanted a change. KBV between $6000-9000. Offered at bottom end because of high mileage.
